He is also on the Advisory Board of Wines of Germany, formerly known as the German Wine Information Bureau, the exclusive U.S. office of the Deutsches Weininstitut. Eric has recently been inducted into the Ordre des Compagnons du Beaujolais, an esteemed French organization dedicated to the wines of the Beaujolais region in France The author spends much time at wine tastings in the United States, and travels to Germany and Austria, meeting new contacts and tasting wines, to further develop his company's wine selection.
